interpack: Schubert showcases extensive packaging solutions portfolio
Packaging systems are often imagined as large-scale industrial operations—featuring long conveyor systems and high-speed product handling, where countless items are efficiently packed into flowpacks and cartons within intricate, fully synchronized lines. While such setups certainly exist, the industry is equally defined by smaller, more compact configurations and individual automated packaging steps. Schubert responds to this full spectrum of needs with a flexible and comprehensive range of solutions, presented across three dedicated theme areas at this year’s interpack.
Since 1966, Schubert’s primary goal has been to solve virtually any packaging task, and this ambition lies at the heart of the company’s technology: the TLM modular system. It enables any packaging line to be built from eight standard modules that perform key packaging tasks, including pick-and-place, flow-wrapping, cartoning and case packing.
Schubert will unveil the eagerly awaited new generation of TLM at 11:15 am on the first day of the trade fair.
Engineered for performance: the TLM range
The modular principle enables to build fully integrated, complex packaging lines that can handle large volumes and continuous production. At interpack, Schubert will display its latest TLM generation as a Flowpacker: The frame is four times stiffer, allowing for more precise and faster robotic movement and ultimately greater performance in a smaller space.
More units and conveyor technology can be accommodated within the same footprint, with improved accessibility. A modular scanner system ensures complete quality control. The TLM line uses AI and 2D and 3D scanners to follow the product throughout the packaging cycle, maintaining quality, packaging orientation and size, as well as any other quality metrics that are specific to your brand and customers.
Standardized for simplicity: LIGHTLINE
The LIGHTLINE series offers targeted automation of specific packaging tasks for manufacturers with less complex requirements. From pick & place to flow-wrapping, cartoning and case packing, the 95% standardised product line offers all the quality of TLM, with increased cost savings through lower prices and reduced setup time. All LIGHTLINE machines come pre-configured and are quick to set up. This helps to minimise the workload involved in project planning and to speed up delivery times.
